LEAH DAVIS

Picture
Leah Davis is a decorative artist and jewelry designer from Leesburg, VA. She graduated on a full art scholarship with a B.F.A. in painting and design from Southern Methodist University. After graduation, she moved to New Zealand where she resided for 13 years. She was an exhibiting member of the New Zealand Arts Council, a recipient of the Queen’s New Artist Grant, and has several paintings in corporate collections. Leah is also an accomplished athlete winning six NZ National Aerobics Pairs championships and placing 4th in the World Aerobics Championship.
Her family moved to Loudoun County in 2000. She balances raising her two children with a part-time career in decorative painting and owns her own jewelry company. Always experimenting with different mediums, she fell in love with Polymer Clay and started making cuff style bracelets, pendants and rings.  “I see each piece I create as a completely original and unique piece of wearable art.” Piece of Heart
