JUSTIN WINDSOR

Picture
Justin Windsor, a resident of Frederick County, Maryland, holds a BS degree in Art with a concentration in ceramics from Towson University. He works mainly with the Raku process (see adjacent explanation). A recipient of the Maryland Distinguished Scholar Award for Visual Arts, he explains that he is drawn to alternative firing methods that are, to a large degree, uncontrollable and unpredictable, yet can yield uniquely colorful effects.
